TD1 is the Galashiels district in the Scottish Borders, taking in Langlee, Tweedbank, Netherdale, Halliburton and the Old Town. Around 18,400 people live here across roughly 9,000 households, making it one of the larger centres in the area. It borders TD2, TD4, TD6 and TD7, plus EH38, EH43 and EH44.
